The last Redskins first round pick that wasn't a borderline pro-bowler or better was Patrick Ramsey in 2002. And he was the last pick in the round. Since that was seven years ago, I'd say the point is bunk that we haven't drafted well at the top of drafts. It's more that we...haven't had picks to get good players with.
And if somebody wanted to make the argument that Ramsey would have been a pro bowler in 2005 had he been the starter, I'd hear it. Before Ramsey, it was Rod Gardner, and now were really dating ourselves.
