Could it be the they were trying to keep it simple in the first part of the season?
- You know, "Hey we all just got together and don't know the offense, so let's keep it simple".
- Mid-season, "All right, that didn't turn out too bad, let's kick it up a notch".
- Today, "Shit, who's idea was this"?
