Tim Hasselbeck deserves his first fair shot for the starting job in next year's preseason. Head to head with Ramsey, I think he would win the battle.
Mike McMahon is yes, another inexperienced quarterback. What we need is a quarterback who is ready to play at a relatively high level next season, so that our quarterback won't be the only facet of the team that is holding us back. Hopefully, we will be ready to roll next year in terms of all the other positions and in terms of game strategy.
Ramsey has to show more than he can just cope - he needs to shine by the end of this season. Otherwise, we will have to trade him because we have to have a player that we know can bring consistency and very solid play. We can't deal Brunell or Hasselbeck, but we could conceivably trade Ramsey.
