- The Scheme -Greg Blache is too commited to stoping the run and in turn doesn't give our DE's enough freedom to set up opposing offensive lineman.
- The offense - is preventing us from getting leads big enough that our front four can rarely let loose and unload on opposing offenses. As a result teams are able to keep us honest by using the run since we can't generate a lead big enough for opponents to consider abandoning the ground game.
- The 4-3 - Teams are starting to figure our the 4-3 and everyone knows that the 3-4 is better for getting after the passer in today's NFL.
- The personnel - Either your blaming Taylor and Carter outright or you feel the defense's inability to get a good push up the middle is going a long way towards preventing our DE's from getting to the Quarterback.
- Other - Anything from blaiming the front office to the possibility that space aliens are using graviton beems that fire on our players at the most inconvient moments.
Personally I'm starting to think the offense is to blame.

1)
The FO for not paying more attention to the line
2)
The personnel-We keep putting the Taylor, Carter and Evans out there and expect different results. Why not give Wilson and Rob Jackson more pass rush chances, what could it hurt?
3)
The offense: constant 3 and outs don't help

Scheme -Blache doesn't disguise the blitz or the coverage behind it. The great defenses can get pressure without giving up coverage. The show blitz but only send 4, but they make it impossible to figure which 4 are coming pre-snap. Blache basically announces hey everybody WE'RE BLITZING!!!
-And IMO Rocky
(who had a horrible game today) is being misused. Rocky should get way more blitzes and pass rush chances instead of putting him out in coverage where he struggles.
