Apparently his chronic knee issues (which we knew about when gave up picks to move up to draft him) have been flaring up. This is bad news. He's still very young and can't make it very far without knee problems. Even worse that we knew about it. Ugh.
From Redskins Insider:
Jim Zorn spoke briefly today about the status of Redskins corner Carlos Rogers, who lost his starting spot Sunday and battled a stomach ailment last week, and linebacker Rocky McIntosh, whose chronic knee condition is flaring up and who watched the final three quarters of Sunday's game from the sidelines.
Zorn would not commit to either player starting against Philadelphia. Defensive coordinator Greg Blache has expressed concerns with McIntosh's play, believing he is "struggling" at least in part because of his knees. Linebacker Alfred Fincher, who has performed well on special teams much of the season, took McIntosh's spot Sunday. The Redskins will likely be playing a lot of nickel defense Sunday, with the Eagles spreading the field often.
