He will be expensive to sign. The Oakland Raiders sort of set the market last year paying Tommie Kelly (their DT) about $13M a year for 4 years. Albert Haynesworth is significantly better than Kelly; the bidding for him will begin north of those numbers.
I'm not sure this is a great draft for DTs - - although I do like Jeff Owens from Georgia.
Here is what I would worry about with Haynesworth - - and it has NOTHING at all to do with his physical skills: Some folks have thought that he does not play hard all the time and that he "takes time off" during games. That hasn't happened this year - - his "walk year". But what might happen next year with a fat signing bonus (north of $12M?) in his pocket and a roster bonus on hand for next year?
