See, I tend to think that if we have to choose between a DE or DT, defensive tackle appears to be in better shape -- Golston, Montgomery, and Griffin while not world beaters are decent and can get the job basically done. Our defensive ends, on the other hand are absolutely pathetic and cannot do what they're supposed to do. So if you have to go with one or the other, to me it has to be defensive end.

There are two lines of thought on this...either our DE's suck becasue they just suck or it's because our DT's do not get any push and the QB can just step up. It's probably a little of both but we would probably need the coaches tape to break down every snap to determine which it's more of. We do seem to have more servicable DL youth inside though...
