Rogers have been pro bowl year this year (IMO) - however he plays really good when he's playing man on man.. Not so well in cover.. But does this move would really help defense? I think that Rogers recent struggles are part of the reason why Hall is getting the start.
Rogers play seemed to decline after that dropped pick against the Steelers. He later gave up an easy TD to Holmes using off coverage on the goaline

(I wonder if it was the defense design to be in off-coverage, but i don't understand why he would play off-coverage near the goaline).
Got toasted on a double move in the Ravens game when he was in 0 coverage and knew he wouldn't have safety help.
Then against the Bengals he was on the goaline in off coverage

and barely put up a fight and gae up a fade route TD.
