And even if you are right and this does turn out to be a fruitless trade, what's the harm? We lose a 5th round pick in 2005. BFD.

a couple of years ago the skins had the highest dead money charge in the league. Its was direct result of the spending spree you just mentioned, so there was ramifaications. We just didn't feel it that much because our team sucked.
