But since the economy crashed in September, is that even a reasonable assumption? I mean, you have the TV deals, and the season ticket sales were already wrapped up at that point, but the single game ticket sales and merchandise revenue had to drop a little bit from last year.
Basically, I think that the cap projection of 123 mil that was made prior to the economic downturn probably affected gross league revenues, and I would be surprised if the cap pushed north of 119 mil.
And if this can be construed as an excuse for getting rid of Casey Rabach, then count me in.
