The low TD total goes back to the dropped passes. So many promising drives stalled out due to the WRs dropping passes on crucial downs. It's hard for the QB to get in a rhythm, much less put up numbers when he can't rely on his receivers and is getting poor protection.
I'm beginning to think some folks just aren't going to be happy no matter who is playing QB for us. Why is no one complaining about Portis' drop in production? Didn't that affect Campbell's ability to pass, or are we blaming Campbell for Portis drop off too? By no means am I complaining about him, it was a team effort to start 6-2 just like it was a team effort (or lack thereof) to go 2-6. The o-line's play directly correlates to the teams record in each half of the season. That's how it went down from where I was sitting.
