Who would you put up there?
Here's mine:
Darrell Green
Art Monk
John Riggins
Joe Gibbs

Paintrain, I enjoyed this thread but it was really tough for thoughs of us watching the Skins from the 70's and before. We really had such great players, to many to list. I still miss many of them. I have been watching them since mid 70's. But I'm really attached to the team of the 80's I seen the birth of the Hogs and watched them become the most dominate force the NFL has ever witnessed IMO. I seen Riggins carry three guys on his back for a extra 10 yards. I seen Darrell Green in his rookie year. We didnt have to worry about losing our guys to FA. They were like family. Well before this becomes a walk down memory lane. I just want to say, we would have to use the entire mountain for our Rushmore.
I find it incredible that Im still emotionally attached to the guys of the 80's. All of the names posted are worthy. You guys that are in your mid to late 30's or older know what I'm talking about. Although we had our share of heartbreaks. Over all.
It was a magical time for a Redskins fan.
