I think if he's smart he's going to be looking for his best chance and best team to end his career on. The problem with Tampa is (and I like Tampa) with a new coach, no QB, a blown up defense, nobody knows how they will be next year. They could be the Cinderella team or more then likely an 8-8 team. If it's between us and Tampa I would give us the better chance of going to the SB over Tampa. Last year was our transition year so we are in a second year with the same offense not starting new. We are in our second year with our Coach's which means players know what to expect. We had the 4th ranked defense and knowing defense is what's getting teams to the playoffs adding Haynesworth would make our team a whole lot better.

True we had low scoring but most of the teams that made the playoffs that had a great defense scored low in their games all season also or so I thought I heard somewhere. ie; Baltimore, and Pittsburge, and Philli. I'm not sure of the others....I wanted to lump Arizona in there also but they could score. In any event, looking at the Skins if we could simply add one or two pieces to our defense to make it better then 4th ranked and add a few pieces to the offense coming back healthy having a better understanding of the offensive plays looks better then an unknown Tampa. I'm being very optimistic. I don't know who the other suiters were for Haynesworth to know if they would offer him a better chance for a SB ring.
I agree with this. While I do not like the idea of breaking the bank for him, if healthy he will make our defense that much better. I'm like half excited and half disgusted.

We are on the cusp of being really good...but also on the cusp of being really bad. So who knows? He could come here and dominate, or like everyone is saying, he could come here and be fat.

What would upset me the most though, is if he were to go somehwere else, and play awesome. That would suck.
