And that's all I've been pointing out. Everyone that's on the Mack bandwagon has praised all of his strengths, but they all have failed to point out any weaknesses.
I've been wondering if anybody else saw the same thing I saw on the videos, now I know that the scouts were.
I don't mean to be a hater or anything like that, but that's what stood out to me - his falling down, balance (I
mistakenly questioned this as his lack of strength), and technique (specifically leaning/overextending).
You can't overlook any of this with a Center. And if you notice in the article, Mack expressed the scrutiny that the scouts had with him. They all want to be comfortable with picking him up earlier in the round rather than later (at the expense of what could be- being able to picking someone else with a better impact for the team). And maybe that's part of the scrutiny, too; they may be trying to see if he is willing and flexible enough to change if need be.
