Well...people who actually know what they're doing give NFL rookie coaches more of a window of just two years to start to win. You can't even bring your first draft class to fruition in two years! McDaniels won't have to find a standout QB in his first year. By the way, WHY the hell would any rookie head coach be on/considered the hot seat after his first year??? That is the most moronic thing I've heard and only my illustrious Skins FO can give that sentiment to a greenhorn coach.
Pat Bowlen knows that hiring McDaniels is going to entail some growing pains and has probably accounted a grace period of more than two years to see it out. McDaniels has more than plenty of advantages with all of those high picks, good for him and the Broncos.
