Well, to a lesser extent NBC. People "fell in love" with Trump's, "the Apprentice". Everyone would say "you're fired" like it was a massive joke. Of course it was set up as such, but these people were fighting for a real job and all of america was glued to how Trump was going to fire them, and rooting for people to get fired.
This new show certainly lacks taste and in a trying economy, might hit home a little too hard for a lot of americans, but don't be mislead, this show WILL get ratings cause it's one of those things like a car wreck. You're mortified, but can't look away. Americans are always looking for the next thing. Instead of Fox going one more step beyond NBC, they went too far, but Fox seems to like that, and Fox viewers like it too.
I find it hard to understand how they will get around privacy laws etc. For instance, if I was one that was laid off and I was plastered on TV after it happened, I'd be PISSED! Maybe they will throw a lot of cash at the victims to make it go away...don't know.
