Re: Best 5 Moves of Dan Snyder Era
5) Trading up and taking Chris Samuels at #3 overall. He's anchored the left side for 10 years now, one of the most consistent Redskins to come along in years.
4) Drafting Sean Taylor. Emotional pick here, but Sean was my favorite player to watch in a Redskins uniform since Art Monk last suited up for us. Every time the ball went up over the middle of the field, I got this calm come over me like 'it's OK, Sean will get it.' And he often did. Not to mention the hits.
3) Trading up to draft Chris Cooley in the 3rd round.
2) Hiring Eric Shaffer. The guy really identifies opportunities for us to work the cap and keep turning the roster over amidst tons of horrendous roster moves over the years. If it weren't for Shaffer finding creative ways to make things work, we'd be in horrible shape.
1) Bringing back Joe Gibbs. The best move by leaps and bounds.
