And I readily admit Rey will make mistakes...he'll miss part of the time. But the ability to blow people up, to make the "target" nervous about touching the pigskin, is something we sorely need to be a truly dominant defense and besides it's fun as hell to watch.

I agree about the OT first only if its Andre Smith then i would take a tackle. We do need a DE but i'm not sure if Ayers is worthy of the 13th pick if we trade down a few spots and get him im kool. If Andre Smith is gone at when we pick i still rather have Rey Maualuga. He is a OC nightmare. He will be the nasty impact player we need so badly to force more turnovers. 3rd draft be DE , OT or even RB to back up Portis. Maybe we can deal Betts for a 3rd pick.
