The focus should be on Pelosi and Reid who hold the levers of power now. It's almost as if the congressional Dems don't exist at all. Besides, I would think that you would be thrilled by the demise of the GOP. Why should it bother you if they are reduced to the status of regional, white man's party?
I loath what the GOP has become, the Mark Sanford and Jeff Sessions, the Boners and Cantors. These clowns aren't your father's party. When we lived in VA my father use to vote for Tom Davis and John Warner. For my senior government class I actually volunteered for Tom Davis' campaign. They were reasonable men. People you could respect even though you disagreed with some of their positions. This is no longer the case with the current crop of GOPers and that's the problem. I really don't care what these guys do...I wouldn't provide assistance if they were choking but I hope someday more reasonable officials come along and replace these ass clowns.

No one is paying attention to the congressional Dems because the figure head of the party is Obama. Everyone knows they do what he wants. This has always been the case irespective of the party.

Clinton won and that's what matters. BTW Clinton won his second term 49.2% to 40.7%.
