The difference as I see it is this. The Gangbanger likely has little to gain monetarily by doing good will and more likely is generated from the heart. The same cannot be said for MV where there is a great deal of $$$$ involved, and he MUST have public approval to get there. MV, more than likely would not be doing all this feel good stuff without the $$$ involved
