It's a legit fear that I think most people have to deal with at some point in their lives.
I've never been a huge fan myself, I once went about 20 years in between flying. Not because I was avoiding it, I just had no need to travel. Then about 10 years ago the wife and I started traveling and I had to get back on a plane. I admit I was very nervous to fly again, but it's one of those things the more you do it, the easier it gets.
Frost, I definitely think the best advice is to see a professional. They can help you get to the root of your problems and help you overcome it.
