Also Im not sure where this thread is going (alcohol-use idealism), but not everyone at the tailgate parties i have been to drink, and most don’t get wasted. Tailgating is not just about drinking. Its big time about grilling, food, games, socializing, playing catch, and hanging out for a few hours talking with people you would otherwise see once or twice a year or not at all. It's great to have forums like this to share your passions about a favorite team, but it's also nice to talk, agree, and disagree with people face to face once in a while.

Also I just want to say never have we taken more than just one spot. We have 2 vans and 1 car (all of which are Redskin themed) that meet up at the same parking spaces so we have lots of room. I am all for penalizing the people who set up tents in an empty space at 9am and watch cars drive by for 4 hours searching for a spot.

Also I don’t post that much but for some of those that do it might be a good idea to put this link in your signature....

Sorry but after seeing both sides here I'm with the team on this one. If things go back to the way they were you'll have people taking up two or three parking spaces wherever they please even if they're more courteous people such as yourselves that get everyone to park together (Matty was right on this one the idiots really do ruin it for everyone else). Then of course the stories about people that get their car keyed for asking tailgaters to give up a spot, again not you, but that's just unacceptable and the type of behavior I'd expect from Eagles fans.

Also you mention playing catch. Sorry but the people watching the game are usually on the outside for a reason in that they themselves can't throw or catch. Maybe get a patch of grass and a mock field for some touch football games and make some money off sponsorship booths but other then that it's not smart to throw anything around in a parking lot.
