Anyway, S.Moss would be a lethal punt returner. But I agree with keeping him as a WR only. Seriously now -- Moss is our ONLY wide receiving threat. We kept Darrell Green healthy enough to retire at 42years old because we only used him sparingly as PR.
That being said, here's ARE's stats from last year:
Randel El: 6.5 yds/return last year, no TDs in THREE YEARS
He was 21st in return average
Perhaps it's not as bad as we think -- Devin Hester averaged 6.2yds in 2008.
Anyway, I sure hope ONE of the new guys can return punts. It's simply sad that the coaches simply don't trust anyone else to field punts & not fumble them. I can't take another year of watching ARE jump around.
