They are both correct more often than not, and in the evaluation of Colt neither had anything glowing to say, Jaws was just more critical.

And when Colt was drafted he was like 190lbs, now he is around 210. On Redskins.com it said he spends time after practice throwing 50 yd passes.

My 16 yr. old son can throw over 50 yds, I can still throw over 50 yds, most HS QBs can throw 50 yds, there's a ton of people who can throw over 50 yds, big deal. Bottom line is the guy has sub-par (at best) arm strength.

ppl forget in the WCO you dont need a cannon. its more on timing in the short to intermediate range.

I sure didn't forget that, but the ball needs to get where it's going fast or those slants/crosses/short outs turn into picks.

JC has a cannon arm. we dont see it often though. NFL Network showed many situations on 3rd and long where he had wrs downfield past the marker in one on one coverage and yet he checked down to the wr that was 3-5 yards short of the first. So either the man cant read defenses, doesnt trust his arm or plays scared to take chances.

When did NFLN show these "many situations", I sure as hell don't remember it and I'm very confident all the JC haters/Cult of Colt would've posted those clips or made quick reference to them. I don't recall any here.
Your assessment of JC is off. The guy has improved every year and was mentioned as a Pro Bowler in the first 8 weeks of last season. Why don't you take a look at Matt Hasselbeck's first year as a starter under Zorn and then the improvement in his 2nd year. JC is our starting QB. Colt is a 3rd string back-up who might not make the team if he doesn't have a strong pre-season.
What has Colt shown you that goes against what Jaws said initially about him? His arm strength hasn't improved drastically, he didn't make particularly great reads in pre-season last year, he made some questionable throws in pre-season, and hasn't fixed his side-arm release. For every Joe Montana there are a hundred Timmy Chang's
