Not a conspiracy, just a smart move from a PR perspective. However, PFT did report that the Lions would have taken him with their 4th if we didnt take him with our 3rd, so i'm less annoyed with the price we paid for him.

I thought for sure the Eagles and Giants had double digit draft picks. Guess i was mistaken. Its good to know we wont be as far behind everyone as we were this year.

And considering he will be able to learn from guys like Daniels and Wynn, who probably won't be here next year, he has the opportunity to learn from some of the toughest, classiest, veteran DEs out there. Hopefully, he will take full advantage of the opportunity.
