The Redskins open their 2009 training camp (
schedule) on Thursday July 30. My how those seven months since December 29, 2008—when the Redskins
fell to the 49ers 27-24 to cap an 8-8 season— flew by. There sure was a lot to talk about over that span:
Albert Haynesworth; dalliances with
Jay Cutler and
Mark Sanchez; first round pick
Brian Orakpo; and sadly, the
departure of longtime Redskin Jon Jansen.
