I think he's demonstrated that he handled it like a true pro and has moved on. That doesn't mean he needs to shy away from any questions about it.

Exactly. Having worked with low level media, you can even then notice that many articles and ideas are "pre-written". The questions asked are very leading and not un-bias. King most likely asked something to the extent of "Hey JC how
terrible did it feel
to be treated the way you were?"
This works both ways to. If the reports wants to get positive info he asks "It's great to see the young receivers improving, right?"
Take everything with a grain of salt from the media.
