Apparently Norv Turner is a regular at the Starbucks I manage. I heard he frequents there, but haven't seen him until a couple days ago. I heard a voice say "I'll have a Venti Americano" and when I looked up, there he was with his Chargers shirt on...no doubt heading off to practice...it was around 5:15-5:30am. I looked at him and said, "this will be the only time I say this, and I apologize for bringing it up, but it's great to meet you Mr. Turner. I've followed your career for a long time, and as an avid Skins fan, I thank you for what you did for us". He chuckled and said "Skins fan huh"...with a slight shake of the head as if to say "I hate that team" haha. We then started talking about random things including my staff at Starbucks and how he enjoyed 1 of them in particular, and we started talking about customers and told him his wife Nancy (whom I met a few days before) was a great customer and we appreciate their business.
All in all, seems like a great guy. Two things struck me about him (other than the fact he was friendly) 1- he was taller than I expected, and 2- he has a VERY quiet demeanor. I expected him to have a louder presense.

There are some other regulars I'm waiting on to come in, including Trevor Hoffman, but since Norv was an ex-skins coach, it was the highlight of my day.
