I always thought Shockey was an overated bum. If he had played anywhere but NYC, he would have been considered a good not great TE w/ attitude problems. In NYC, he gets the hype machine working for him.

My favorite plays of his are the one where the pass is picked off in front of him and he turns to bitch while our guy (forget who) scores a TD and the one where he is celebrating on the sideline, hamming it up for the cameras, while the other team scores a touchdown. To me, they typify this idiot.
