4. Crackback: Eligible receivers who take or move to a position more than two yards outside the tackle may not block an opponent below the waist if they then move back inside to block.

Childress needs to be very clear about this rule. Favre's block was clearly illegal. I don't think it was intentional though. But I can tell you in all the time I coached, I never taught going low on a crackback, I always had my players aim for the opponents ribcage.

Someone on the Vikes coaching staff needs to get a clue since they're going to be running a good bit of the Wildcat with Harvin. On this play Favre just made a pussy block.
