One other thing sure it is easier to deal out of 5th pick than the 11th but there has to be some intrinsant value in the pick. In a below average draft clas high pick is just going to cost you money .

Also if you can evaluate talent it really doesn't matter where you pick becasue you can always get the best player available . Picking in top five is typically expensive and really a no brainer but never gifts sucess and we realy are not one rookie away from being great.
