i've learned over the years to be REALISTIC when hoping for a win.

eli was 19 of 35 in the first game, 213 yds, no td, no int, and 10 of those passes were to Burress. I remember the game clearly, and after their first 2 drives (1 TD, 1 FG) they stopped moving the ball. The first drive they had all the SB champ hype and they were fired up. WE on the other hand last year always took a quarter to "ramp up".
If Hakeem Nicks plays well, then it could be closer. But our secondary receivers have looked far better than their primary receivers, and if we can back their LB's off, we will run better also.
One last thing I remember about that game was how little Zorn used Cooley. As JZ admitted earlier this week, he didn't really know his players strengths and weaknesses last year game 1, and this year Cooley will not be limited to 1 catch for 7 yards. If they try and bottle up CP, as I expect most teams to do early, JC will win the game for us. Believe you me!
