Lynch launched himself at Dallas Clark helmet first and hit Clark right under the chin strap. I'm pretty sure Lynch even said he hit Clark the way he did to send a message to the Colts, and now the Broncos dbs r talking trash about the colts receivers who torched them for 40+points last year.

All this talk about football being a violent sport and fines like this causing a player not to play at full speed and hit people in similar ways as if the fines are a bad thing? Players have to stop leading with the helmet, because it's becoming far more common instead of using the shoulder or heaven forbid their arms. These fines not only are to discourage the use of spearing and launching for the safety of the receivers but also the defensive players as well. If there isn't a change in the way defensive players, someone is going to die sooner than later during a football game.
