Everyone wants to b and moan, fine go ahead. But we got a W, 15 other teams, including Dallas and Philly didn't. And we beat a team we lost to last year. I'm not happy, but I'm not crying at my desk either. We put up 364 yds, we moved up and down the field. We stopped them, causing a turnover on a critical drive.

The RedZone is the Redzone because its hard, and that was my point. but please go ahead and piss the win away. atleast at the end of the year we won't be looking back and saying we shoulda won against the Rams.
I agree with you. People's reservations are horribly misplaced.

The players did fine yesterday. Pretty much all of them. Sure, should we have scored more than 9 pts on the Rams? Of course. Are we struggling with a lot of the same problems last year? That's debatable.

But underachievement in the red zone is only a necessary excuse if we lose the game. Yes, we had a poor performance there, but we won 9-7, and from the point that Avery fumbled on, we were never in danger of losing the game.

Had the defense played worse than it did, we might have ended up getting upset. But that didn't happen. The defense did it's job, the offense didn't really do it's job, but we still beat the crap out of the Rams on both sides of the ball, which was more important than the 2 pt margin of victory.
