3) Come out and make a statement that Zorn is still the head coach and will be until the end of the season...

Options 1 and 3 are swift definitive moves, but I think Snyder will go for option 2

Snyder is in that situation where no matter what he decides (given his history of mismanagement), there will be many skins fans calling for his blood. If he goes with 1) it will be construed as Snyder being Snyder and unless Shanahan or someone is willing to captain this sinking ship, i don't think the move will be vindicated. Option 3) would be gutsy but I still think that many will find a way to criticize Snyder for not seeing the situation for what it is. He is in a real tough spot to say the least...Thoughts?
Or #4, make every effort to lock up Holmgren as GM now, then let him make the football decisions. If he thinks it's best for him to get back on the sideline then so be it. My guess would be Holmgren would keep Zorn in place as HC for the rest of the season and then evaluate the best course of action. Fire Blache now and promote from within, Gray or Olivadotti then make a final DC decision after the season. Cerrato can stick around with some BS title, but ultimately control would be Holmgren's.
