I remember back when we went our our big restricted free agent blitz when we got Coles, Hall, Thomas, etc., the WP had a very detailed article about the Redskins plan of attack, and I do remember them mentioning that Snyder had extensive cap spreadsheets of 3-year projections and he worked closely with those projections when he structured the contracts to ensure they were staying under the cap.
