Let's say that's the case (I agree it likely is). Not surprising considering he'd never been anything more than a position coach, and now he's juggling HC, playcalling, and QB's. Maybe the mistake wasn't in hiring him, but in asking that much that soon. Granted the assumption was that Blache had so much experience, Zorn could sort of leave that side of the ball alone on game day (which I believe he does), but I've gotta think we'd be doing a better job if Sherman Smith was calling the plays. Zorn has struggled with critical play calls and time management. With less on his plate, maybe things improve in that department.
The question here is, can he relinquish playcalling and still survive as a HC on this team?
