Great point. Agreed. Right now Snyder and Vinny need to be working to find a true GM who will have complete control. Shanahan ain't it, Cowher ain't, Holmgren probably isn't either. I'm not sure who is out there, but the GM must be brought on first, ASAP. No one needs to be fired in-season to bring in a true GM. Just move Vinny into some other FO role.
