I've got no "fascination" w/gallery or anyone else. The thread is more about predicting what the front office might do.

My preference would be for them to keep all draft picks. But if Gallery, or a similar player, could be had for a late round pick & they can start this year & next, I'd have to say that's decent deal. Of course, it perpetuates the old fa/ lack of draft picks & youth, but it's still possible that such a move could help.

I would agree w/you on gallery if it weren't for the level of dysfunction going on in Oakland. Randy Moss looked washed up there & they traded him for a 4th round pick. Was that a good deal for NE? I don't know if Gallery can play anywhere, but I think there's some chance that he could go elsewhere & do alright.
