Knowing 2010 had a good chance to be an uncapped season, that they would stabilize our WRs with young talent, keep Cooley, get a young RG & RT and give them time to develop, bring in young safties, and bolster the DL.

They put Zorn in place knowing he'd fail, and we'd have at least two high picks to work with in the 2010 draft and an uncapped season to fill holes in Free Agency. Worst case it would take one more year to rebuild to make a SB run in the 2011 season.
