I don't think there is any team in the NFL with a true #1 receiver returning punts full time. There's a reason for that. I mean, I guess Hester is the Bears #1 wideout, but he hasn't come close to establishing himself as a receiver in this league.

Santana is explosive back there for sure, but the cost to our receiving game is too high a price to pay. His hammy gets hurt enough as it is without him trying to play full time special teams.

I wonder how Mason would do returning punts. He's got some burst.
Catching the ball is the first vital step in the exchange process and should not be taken for granted. Too often failing to secure the ball first has led to big plays for the opposition
