1st thing first.. GM... period. I can't sit here and say whole heartedly that we will be successful with coach a or b without a new FO system in place that gets danny out of the cookie jar. Look I wanted our way of doing things to work. As did everyone else here, but at this point it is not going to. We can't over pay free agents and then bitch because we have no depth. We have no money to get ourselves any depth.
Also at this point we don't have anyone who can pick good talent. AND WE NEED A SYSTEM IN PLACE TO GET THE RIGHT TALENT AS WELL. We need guys that fit our "system". Which right now isn't very clearly defined. A WC passing attack mixed with an 80's running game? You know why we have this backwards ass offensive system in place. Because we don't have a clearly defined way of running the franchise. This is what happens when you hire an OC who is only installing a passing game and then turn the guy into the HC. Remember we kept Joe Gibbs running game. So Zorn is only using half of the WCO playbook. This is so stupid. This is why the offense sux so bad. Well among many other problems with this franchise. RETARDED VINNY. Come on, hire the whole staff then try and find a HC to fit around them? What HC worth a salt would have taken the job back in 08? None. Except for washed up Jim Fassel or Steve Mariucci? A couple of winners there huh? Well this is where we are and it is time to blow up Redskin Park's inner structure.
So I could really care less about Jeff Fisher. I want to know who the next GM is, and when he is going to start getting this thing turned around. No more band aids.

You're absolutely correct. I wanted to say the very same things you did, I just didn't feel like typing it.
Just finished reading Jason Reid's blog on Redskins Insider "Largent says Zorn considered quitting" and disecting his logic (which by the way is spot on) one can't help but wonder why Zorn took this job in the first place. One word of wisdom to any prospective coach considering coming here under the current set of circumstances, BEWARE.
