If they are looking to trade Gardner, it means they believe they can do better in the draft. I think what we will see is Gardner goes, we try to pick up a receiver through free agency, if we don't, the 9th pick goes to a receiver.
I have a feeling that Gibbs may be very picky in the free agent market given that the only receivers that may be out there are going to be number 2 guys. He has that now.
I'm looking for Jacobs to move to the number two spot (pending) and Gibbs drafts a WR in the first and hopes for a homerun.
Personally, Coles, Thrash, Jacobs, Cooley provide some pretty good options for the passing game. I can see why Gardner is easily the odd man out.
