I have to say - If anyone had seriously suggested asking for a 2nd rounder for Gardner, I would have (and probably did a time or two) laugh derisively in their direction. I just don't see it happening - Hell, I don't see a third rounder happening. But, what the hell, can't hurt to ask.
Who knows, Schotty drafted him and seems to have a penchant for sticking with players he likes. SD may actually be a good fit for him.
To me, Gardner is the new Westbrook. Lots of talent, but mininmal commitment, concentration or consistency.
