I think 10 weeks is about right, think about any job, the first few weeks really are just about getting to know if the newb can relate to the people in the company, then you start giving him responsibility and seeing if he gets it. after 8-10 weeks both sides know each other. Football is a different environment, I don't really know how it works, but its rare for a player, other than Mason, to be signed released signed back etc. I think bringing a guy to an active roster says that Woodson had gotten nowhere. Having said that we probably will resign him in three weeks when we got the new guy
