It's a good opportunity for him and I hope he does well. I think this is another clear indication of a housecleaning this offseason. This is pure speculation.

Is it possible, that Blache, Snyder, and Gibbs conspired to let Gray take over the media duties to give him more exposure. I realize this would involve assigning less petty motives to our owner/staff than normal, but it seems very possible to me. Didn't Gibbs dinner with Snyder come around the same time? again, pure speculation, but perhaps Gibbs discussed Memphis as a possibility, and Blache backed off to let Gray have some air time. Seems that would be an invaluable asset in showing his presentability.
