One final note on the defense:

Our big defensive weakness, far more than anything else, is defending the other team's tight end. But as deadly a force as the TE can be against the Redskins, it's not like they ever break it for a ton of yards or points without help from the outside or the running game. So while it's a clear weakness that is really obvious against the pass, it's not a weakness that's ever going to show up in the conventional stats.

Which may mean that defending TEs is overrated. I'm open to all ideas with this, because I can't think of an instance where this has bit us in the balls and decided the game. It may just be a trivial fact: that the Redskins can't cover any tight ends, if they happen to go out to receive a pass.
