I love how Brady plays and I think he is a great QB. I don't begrudge him one thing. McNabb, on the other hand, I think showed last night that he is not the QB that everyone thinks he is. Until this season I had always maintained he was vastly over-rated. But this year he even convinced me he had taken the next step and actually was as good as his press. Last night all his problems that I had harped on in seasons passed shown through. I think Reid deserves a lot of blame for the Gibbs-like clock management at the end of the game but honestly McNabb was the guy huddling for 10 seconds after every play and taking another 15 to get the ball snapped only to throw a 5 yard in or slant. McNabb has some great qualities for a QB. He seems intelligent and can understand the game well. Of course his quickness and agility are advantages but his basic qb skills are just average at best. He has an average arm and below average accuracy and seems to get flustered a little more than a great QB should. His biggest problem seems to be his ego. I don't think he is some egostitical jerk(on the contrary...i think he is a genuine guy who does all the right things of the field) but he seems so intent on being recoginzed as a good pocket passer when the best and most useful part of his game is his ability to move and create time for his receivers and match up problems for defenses. He is a good QB who can do a few great things but he is not a great QB.
