And now a certain delivery service - not known for dropping the ball - is taking a look at that FredEx logo, which apparently is unauthorized.
Lindon Leader dazzled the design world in 1994 when he created the trademarked FedEx logo, whose right-pointing arrow shows up subtly inside the "Ex." The developer of FredEx seems to have simply snuggled a letter "r" inside the word.
FedEx spokesman Jim McCluskey, noting that FedEx is the official shipper of the National Football League, said the company would "approach this in a courteous manner... . If we do find a violation of our brand, we'll ask that it stop."
