Aside from Favre and Warner (38), the trend really doesn't exist and they are certainly exceptions to the rule. What is also helping these 2 old farts are offensive lines (Favre's been sacked 27 times, Warner 20) and the young (sub-30 years old) receivers these guys are throwing to (Favre has Berrian, Harvin, Rice; Warner has Fitzgerald, Boldin, Breaston).
hate to turn this into a JC thread but those ages really stand out since JC turns 28 this year so he could really be right at the turning point, and he does seem to be playing like the light is turning on. It would be a shame to give up on him (even I had done as much by the 6th game) just when - age wise- he "gets it"
